What's your favorite type of science?

For me, I'm currently studying physics which is cool, but I really liked learning about chemistry even though I thought it was hard

i'd say i liked learning nutritional anthropology quite a bit but i am not particularly interested in the more popular sciences like biology chemistry etc

Chemistry is the central science.

From it you can go into biology and medicine, or you can go the other way into materials science and physics.

Chemistry is challenging because part of it requires math (physical chemistry) and part of it requires memorization (organic chemistry and biochemistry).

physics I like but cannot understand, or at least in the condensed format they're teaching us now
chem and bio were always easier for me to pick up, I'm good at pure short term memorization even if I sucked at nomenclature

They're all terrible
Out of the options, I like chemistry theost though. Watching and learning how chemicals and elements interact with each other can be very interesting.

Biology
I hated the rest so much, I based my choice of school on "if they don´t teach it there, I´m in".

lol i have many upper division hours in each .( i took those as electives instead of the happy bunny love stuff)
But chemistry is the way stuff works and what it is. my favorite.
Most physics is super math heavy so many do not like it. but its the way the universe works as we understand it (or more like our best guess atm)

The big thing to remember is currently we are at best adolescents in science. Good at destroying and blowing stuff up.

Far far too many work for governments/ corporations and thus tell them what ever will get them paid or the grants renewed and increased.

Bio was my fave in HS and college.
Chemistry was the easiest because I clicked w/ the concepts and it's easier math. I hated lab, tho.
Physics is the most interesting to me, but I didn't have a great teacher in HS and I stopped the pre-med track in college before I got to physics.

science is not exactly my thing but i think i liked biology the most. physics was always too confusing and with chemistry i could never focus on the classes because the classroom was so bright (white walls, light grey floor and it was very big for a classroom) that it made me physically unwell. i felt like i was going to faint almost all the time and sometimes thought that my desk was going to break down... idk why any of that happened but that was the main reason why i could never enjoy chemistry
