Would you look at someone differently if you find out they had a troubled past?
E,g. If I told ye I stole from a shop before 👀Lmao Im joking but you get the point.
So would you look at them differently?

i mean i stole from a shop before too so if the troubled past doesn't involve seriously harming anyone then no i wouldn't

of course it might change my perspective on them somewhat because it's new information to digest, but as long as it wasn't something that involved hurting other people, it wouldn't change my opinion of them. i've recently learned things about someone i love's past and it was definitely unexpected, but it didn't change our relationship or how i felt about them at all. if that makes sense. i might be wording things badly because i'm exhausted

It depends on the situation. If they’ve done some really bad stuff then maybe. But people change too so it’s complicated.

probably a bit, but I look more on the person they are now
I like some idols who have done some messed up stuff, but they've grown tremendously as a person since and worked a lot on becoming a better person + have expressed regret so while I keep it in mind, I no longer hold it against them
