A fanfic that I wrote on a different forum.

Bitter Coffee Day​

The sky is grey and covered by clouds.​

San is lying on the couch of his apartment, just gotten home from work.​

He closes his eyes and sighs.​

"What a day..." he says to himself.​

Today, it had been a bitter day at the coffee shop, he is working at.​

He had not gotten enough sleep last night, so he felt tired all day.​

He got scolded by a middle aged woman, when he gave her the hot chocolate with the whipped cream, when she ordered it without.​

He apologized to her, but the woman scolded him more and called him an idiot.​

He doesn't feel like doing anything else than just take a nap and then maybe go read a book afterwards.​

Then he hears his smartphone vibrating on the table next to the couch.​

His heart starts beating fast as if it is about to explode, hoping that it is a text from his boyfriend, Wooyoung.​

He gets off the couch and walks towards the table.​

He grabs the phone.​

But it's his friend, Yunho, texting him.​

"Hey San" his friend writes. "Do you want to go over to my house and play some video games?"​

He looks at the text message. disappointed.​

"No thanks." he responds. "I don't feel like it today."​

"OK then." his friend writes back. "I'll ask Mingi instead."​

He puts his phone back on the table and decides to get himself a mug of coffee.​

He sits at the kitchen table with the mug in front of him.​

As he takes a sip from it, he frowns from it's bitter taste.​

So he pours a tea spoon of sugar in it, hoping that it will turn sweeter.​

His phone vibrates again.​

He sighs.​

"Probably Yunho again."​

Then he sees that it is a text message from Wooyoung.​

"Hi baby ❤" his boyfriend types. "Been a rough day?"​

His face turns pink and a smile appears on his face.​

"Yes, it has been a rough day." he responds.​

"Maybe I could make your day better by coming over with chocolate and cuddles~~"​

Butterflies start tickling in his stomach. "I can't wait. 💕"​

He has a huge smile on his face.​

He takes a sip of the coffee, which has turned sweeter from the sugar.​

For him, Wooyoung is like sugar that makes his bitter coffee day sweeter.​
