I agree. They have worked like non-stop for almost 10 years, focusing only on music and the group. No time for themselves, family, friends, love.
Even their own happiness was secondary. They sacrificed everything for the team.
Now, it's time to heal and grow individually. And if they feel the time is right, they can come back.
We all could feel they are exhausted and they need a breath of fresh air and I'm happy Hybe let them do it.
This break is needed and they don't leave the group/fans, only focus on different things from now on!

Hybe did not let them do it. This was announced on their V live I’m pretty sure, and Hybe immediality denied it because their stock plummeted. I’m sure they’ll come back sometime, too soon, but considering enlistment is coming up. It’ll be some time. But BTS had to announce this on their own probably because Hybe didn’t want them to do this.

This is probably for the best considering they mentioned it seems how they were to take a small break years ago, but never did. Working on solo careers is probably for the best. I’ll be seeing J hope for Lolla. I had the tickets for 4 months now and he surprisingly is headlining the day I had the ticket for. So I’m sure the solo careers will do well if you can headline Lolla I wish them luck.

i don't think they would pull 1D......they'll come back as a group when they're ready. it looks like break was long overdue. They've been wanting a break since 'ON'...and then the pandemic happened so they continued as a group to release music on and off.
