Yeah his bac is dangerously high and was like an electric scooter/mini motorcycle things that are popular in Asia not some small scooter either

deserved but honestly considering how rich he is getting off with a fine is light (other option in South Korea law is 2-5 years jail for over .2% bac)

I doubt a regular person would get off with just a fine

I’m in California so I think it’s a more than reasonable standard

Most western countries have bac limits of .05 for DUI laws. Even those more relaxed (compared to South Korea) limits he more than quadrupled and even the US one he nearly tripled

His BAC seems to me to be a Schröedinger's Kitten(if u don't know the reference Google it) type thingie at this point, unconfirmed by any official source but also not denied by HYBE/Suga[so only when the box is opened{official source confirmd it/mentioned it[which so far iv not read abt any official statement} so iv seen comments saying it was speculation/but if it wasn't .227 level wouldn't it hv been denied? So I go with the basis of its the (unofficial/unconfirmed) level unless otherwise denied/confirmed <forever unknowable as per Schröedinger's Kitten!)

The rest of it I hv no stake in this so no comment other than Don't Drink and Drive(even a scooter/kickboard/other vehicle)

I was just being sarcastic and mocking the electric scooter part. Although drunk driving us serious And I hate it I hate that lives tend to get ruined over what *might* have happened. I'm a fan of Kim Sae Ron and fully think she deserves another chance.

Is drunk driving a worse offense if someone dies? If you drive drunk and don’t kill someone you didn’t do anything differently than if you drove drunk and killed someone. The other factor as to whether someone dies really just comes down to luck. For me when someone drives drunk, they drive drunk, and the only things that can change severity are maybe how drunk you are, but not the outcome of that particular event.

Drunk driving is drunk driving. But people want to treat those who did it as if they already killed someone. If that's the game we're playing then we need to treat anyone who drinks as if they might kill someone. After all, it started with the drinking. Not the driving.

A person who’s drunk is not in the process of doing an action that could puts another person at danger just from the process of drinking. Someone who is drunk driving is doing something that can cause death from just the combination of being drunk and driving.

Emphasis mine. 100%. A friend of mine was hit by a drunk driver. It killed her dog, broke both of her arms, damaged her spine, and she has lifelong pain as a result. I can't even imagine what it must have been like to be driving, and then a second later, you're waking up in a hospital being told you have months of rehabilitation to get use of your limbs back, and oh, yeah, your beloved pet is dead.

It really changed my perspective on events like this from "obviously that's bad, but nobody was hurt, *doesn't think about it again*" to "holy shit, do I think less of you now." Especially when the involved person is so wealthy that he could pay someone to follow him around all day and drive him places.

I’m glad he at least got fined for it, I’m genuinely glad it was just a small incident and not something bigger that injured him or anyone else. I hope this will be something he holds onto, really learns from and won’t do something like it again.

Honestly would prefer celebrities to be forced to do community service than be fined because it's a slap on the wrist to them that they'll make back in a day chances are. Drunk driving should be shamed because the only reason someone doesn't hurt or even kill someone from drunk driving is simply down to getting lucky and nothing else and if there's no repercussions for it then they will re-offend.

I'd say the same about those Western celebrities as anyone who drives drunk is trash since they might not care about potentially ending their own life but they shouldn't be so reckless as to be risking ending someone else's life as well.
