Is the greatest kpop group of all time?

During their prime they were on another level as far as iconic songs and album sales.

And STILL relevant today.

I saw an old interview with that one group (Jackie Chans short lived kpop group) and they said in their opinion Super Junior is the best boy group ever. It got me thinking.

They and TVXQ.... BB is a different animal kinda like 21 is not really a gg same with bp

During their time IMHO Super Junior remains a special case. Super Junior is their own complicated ball involving members, fans, SM and everyone they come in contact with.

I vote TVXQ as greatest of all time but the split really affected their legacy in the eyes of a lot of fans. If they stayed together as five there would be no doubt they would still to this day be the overwhelming choice by everyone as the best kpop boy group that ever lived.

SJ is great, but its between Big Bang and TVXQ. More hit songs, more influence.

Super Junior was always so underapreciated despite always doing quite well.

To me the best kpop group is for sure TVXQ and yeah I agree that the split affected them all. As 5 they would have been unstoppable.

I wouldn't say any boy group really has the market on being the greatest as they always have either physicals or digitals and the closest we really have to one with both is BTS.

Where as with SNSD it's fairly easy to see them as the greatest girl group as they had both the digitals with multiple hits including Gee and being the only girl group to win the GDA album award.

Complex history and too many issues with them. They did release iconic stuff, but there are groups that I personally find more wholesome.

Damn. I just read that Super Junior new album has already surpassed 300k copies sold. That's incredible for a 15 year old group.

TVXQ might be, like the younglings these days say, more iconic, but honestly Super Junior has done sooo much. Like it's not just about being an idol group, (which they haven't been for a long ass time), they're all around the industry and doing great. It's not that regular to see a group where each member is seen as such prominent individuals as with Super Junior, most prominent ones probably being Heechul, Leeteuk and Kyuhyun.

Only a dumb dumb would claim that Suju isn't in the top 3 of most influential boy groups.
