The songs are mostly randomly generated by the AI. It can even 'write' the song lyrics for you, but you can also use your own lyrics. Suno AI works surprisingly good but it's more like an entertaining computer game at the moment. It's fun to try things out - for hours. Goodbye Lifetime!

But if AI development continues like this, systems like Suno AI could get a serious competition for real song producers and studio musicians in the future.
I'd love to have a mix of 'hand made' music production and AI. Imagine that you write a song, upload your own vocal parts and the AI give you the virtual instrumentation, mixing and sound effects and put all things together. Literally everyone could be creative without learning an instrument. But I'm not sure if the music industry would like this idea.
