Honestly, threads do and will repeat with or without cards. How many times have we done the comment and I'll give you a song thing. We'll go about four more days and there'll be another thread or batch of threads like it... Especially with the fact that some people's playlists are massive.

So, I wouldn't worry. Some threads can be reused and still be new and fresh.
