Now I have listened to all of Day6's Korean title tracks (and a bonus).
I listened to them in order of release as well.
So this is my official rank-feel free to say if you agree or disagree.
Also, feel free to leave your own opinions as well.
But please be respectful of each other and me.
Day6's TITLE TRACK RANKING (Chirpsy's):
1. I Need Somebody- (10/10)
[This is not a title track but it is one of Day6's best songs to date and I think it needs to be here so, yeah.
Literally cannot explain how much this song means to me and how beautiful it is to top it off.]
2. Sweet Chaos- (10/10)
[I really liked the intro but then the song just continued to get better and better as it went on. I really
love how the singing and the instrumental line up perfectly creating a really cool effect. It's so addictive.]
3. Letting Go- (10/10)
[This song along with I Need Somebody is my go-to Day6 song. It is just such a pretty song and it's
so satisfying to listen to and on top of that it's so fun to sing.]
4. I Like You- (9/10)
[I really love this song. Sungjin put his all into the chorus and you can hear it and feel it. It's beautiful and impactful.]
5. DANCE DANCE- (9/10)
[Love this song. It's just the right summery & upbeat vibe. It makes me feel happy and I love singing to it. Makes me smile.]
6. How Can I Say- (9/10)
[I always enjoy the starting harmonies with the members. Makes this more memorable. Catchy & powerful.]
7. I Wait- (8/10)
[A good song, however, I played this song so much when it dropped that it's lost a bit of its charm. But it's still a top-tier song. Greta energy.]
8. Congratulations- (8/10)
[A solid debut song. Not the best of their music but still a really solid song that I think showcased their style well.]
9. Zombie- (8/10)
[A good solid song. It does feel like it's missing a bit of something but besides that I really enjoy this song.
I do tend to gravitate towards the English version just a bit more.]
10. You Were Beautiful- (7/10)
[This is just a beautiful song. While the song is lovely and really pretty, it also isn't a song I actively seek out.]
11. What Can I Do- (7/10)
[Once again, not a bad song by any means but a lot of Day6's releases during this year began to sound the same. A good song nonetheless.]
12. I Loved You- (7/10)
[Good song. I think this one is higher up than some of the others simply because the chorus is a lot better than some of the ones below this one.]
13. Shoot Me- (7/10)
[I love Day6 but this song sounded very fake. I don't know how to explain it properly, something about it just didn't sound right.
But that being said, it's still a good song with some good moments.]
14. Beautiful Feeling- (7/10)
[Nice song. It feels almost overly mixed or like it's a weird mix of things but it works.]
15. Time Of Our Life- (6.5/10)
[Wonpil was really out here killing the keyboard with those magical fingers. I liked this song for the instrumental and the parts where
the members were all singing/shouting together. it makes a song feel more energetic to me.]
16. Days Gone By- (6.5/10)
[Good instrumental again and chorus too. Not a massive fan of the verses though.]
17. Hi Hello- (6/10)
[A nice chill summery song. I love the harmonies, not bad overall but not the best.]
18. I'm Serious- (6/10)
[Good vibes again. I love songs that remind me of the beach. Once again good but not crazy in love with it.]
19. I Smile- (6/10)
[Beautiful song. That's pretty common with Day6 songs if I'm being honest. Rarely do they have an ugly song.
But the chorus is not my favorite thing and I get tired of it fast.]
20. All Alone- (5/10)
[A nice chill song with a melancholic vibe. Despite being lovely it is rather forgettable. I do like the harmonies.]
21. When You Love Someone- (5/10)
[This song just doesn't do much for me. It's not bad by any means but it's pretty boring.]
22. You Make Me- (5/10)
[This is just an OK song. Nothing really stood out and it was pretty bland.]
Overall, I really like Day6.
I have a lot of B-sides from them that I like too.
I only included one though because it's my all-time favorite song from them.
But overall Day6 has a good discography it's just some songs
feel too similar or lack an interesting quality for me.
