This is just a rumor...
As you know, CL was pretty much inactive for months. Not only her activities as artist but also out of social media until a couple of days ago, when she was spotted by fans traveling from Mexico to SK and her recent uploads on IG.



Is clear that she lost weight and came back to the long grey hair too.
There's a lot of speculation regarding her contact termination, because it's supposed to end between April-May, so we don't know if she's actually getting ready to release something on her own (she has been pretty much leaking her own stuff) or one last cb with YGE.
I honestly don't want to think she'll renew with YG but that's a possibility too...

I doubt that she'd renew with YG, she's been pretty open about who she holds responsible for the hold up in her career... I just hope that Scooter still supports her properly and that she gets a great new team of people around her! I genuinely think that she's one of the greatest stage performers of her generation and she deserves global recognition as far as I'm concerned.

She has a song coming out in "early 2019" with the Japanese hop group PKCZ. It was arranged by Scooter Braun. Fans speculate that this is going to come out in April or May after her contract with YGE expires. Trust me, she has her team and genuine friends within the entertainment industry.

Frankly this would be a return to the music industry, nor just a mere comeback. Mom is back!!

And no I doubt this is one more comeback with YGE. They completely abandoned her after 2016 and just in general wouldn't bother to support the final comeback of a artist who is leaving the company.

Tbh, she would be really stupid if she does this [renewing her contract]. But I doubt this will happen.

As I said at the beginning, her status in YGE isn't clear. We know she has a lot of unreleased material and that's why many believe she's just waiting her contract termination, to start working on her own. Anyways, it may take a while until she could make a proper cb...
