Event [Collect the Shells Event] Game 4: Memory Game (1 Viewer)

🐬 Dolphin Tidbit : Dolphins have been known to use tools, a dolphin population in Australia has been seen getting cone shaped sea sponges to use at hunting grounds. They’ll use the sea sponge to probe around in the sand for hiding fish. Adults will then pass down these techniques to their young.

Welcome everyone to the fourth game of this event! This game, as I'm sure you can tell, is all about testing your memory. This is probably going to be one of the more difficult games of this event.

How To Play
I’m assuming most of you have played a memory matching game? Where you flip cards and have to match them up? This is exactly what you’ll be doing, I have created a memory game for each one of you to play which you can find down below. But what makes it all so difficult? As I said each one of you will be playing this individually, once you have completed the memory game your results will come up on the screen along with the amount of time it took for you to complete the memory game. Each one of your team members' time spent on the game will be added up altogether and that will be your team's final time spent. Your goal is to get the least amount of time spent on the game as a team.

You Must Know
-You can play the memory game as many times as you’d like until you get a time that you’re happy with. I'd recommend all of you to share all of your times in your team's chat to know how much time altogether you all have.
-You all must send me a screenshot of the game results that includes your final time that you’re going with. It will not be accepted otherwise. (Please send it to me through DM, or it can also be sent in your teams chat as well, just make sure to tag me).
-When you go to play the memory game make sure the number of pairs selected is 15.

-If a team member doesn’t participate in this game, the team will receive a penalty of the average amount taken to complete the game +10 seconds.
-You will have until March 25 to complete this game.
-If a member does work on the memory game but fails to turn in their final time that they wish to go with, your team will receive a penalty of the average amount taken to complete the game +5 seconds.

Important announcement regarding penalty points.
After some thought I along with the rest of the events team has decided to increase the amount of penalty points given if a team member doesn’t participate or fails to submit in their final results.
For any team member that fails to participate in this game your team will receive a penalty of the average amount of time taken to complete the game (which currently is 2 minutes) + 10 seconds.
For any team member that does participate but fails to submit their final results your team will receive a penalty of the average amount of time taken to complete the game (again most likely 2 minutes) + 5 seconds.

Personally I'd just make it 3 minutes as from my experience it's an easy enough time to beat that it makes it a real punishment to not participate.

As for the one for not submitting if you announced when the game ends however give time for the team to gather the best screenshotted times to submit at once (like 24 hours) it'd allow you to move on with the event as scheduled and just post the winner when available.

Deep Sea Pod team collects 10 shells with a total time of 30 minutes and 13 seconds.
While this doesn’t get you any extra shells, I thought I could reveal the top 3 times:
1st : Abeamus -> 1:16
2nd : litc -> 1:26
3rd : Goldenstar -> 1:41
Congratulations to both teams!
The final main game will be held tomorrow, the first will be starting at 6 AM PST & possibly go until 9 AM PST (I don’t see it taking too long though). It’s a game we’ve never done here on the forums so I hope you’re all excited for it. I’ll be posting a notice an hour before it begins, hope to see you all there.
