A brinicle is a hollow tube of ice that grows downward below floating sea ice. These form when a seawater solution called brine is released from pockets in the sea ice. The extremely salty and very cold brine will freeze any water with which it comes into contact, forming a fragile, icy tube.

Blue and purple varieties of potatoes are rich in fiber and protein and full of antioxidants. The “Adirondack Blue” potato has purple skin and purplish blue flesh. It has a rich, nutty flavour and keeps its colour when cooked. Also, potatoes have more potassium than bananas.
