if im reading into things right, she does have two separate contracts. one for solo one for group.
its her solo contract that ends now, but her group contract ends with the others in may
i know the bare minimum of contracts but its the information ive gathered from others orz

That makes sense. She did have a solo debut before the group debut, so I can follow her solo contract being on a different schedule. I'm curious what kind of company she'd want to move to. For all of Cube's faults, she does seem to get a lot of free reign to manage (G)I-DLE the way she wants.

maybe that sounds a bit too ambitious, but I see her more in line with the founding fathers than someone as Jay Park

To me she seems to be one of the best producers & song writers in kpop right now, not only did she propell her own group to superstardom but she also has proven that she can write hit songs for other groups (like QWER righ now).

Also I see so many people make fun of her for the lyrcis, but when I check out any kpop related spaces, her lyrcis are brought up quite often. Whatever people say, I see many people having fun with those silly lyrcis and quoting some all over the place. I think she really understands well what people like and how to make things fun!

It's a stylistic choice, and it's kinda weird to me that she gets so much crap for it when so many other artists have similar choices (like whisper singing or Ariana's famous lack of enunciation).

I don't understand either, but I guess it's because she is so talented, some people feel the strong need to bring her down..
