Did Kep1er go on tour? (1 Viewer)

This is in response to the ZB1 Asia tour stops that just dropped - I don't remember hearing news of one for Kep1er I'm open to any and all theories as to why/why not/why specific regions or sth. Did they have Seoul concerts at least??

Wiki shows just 2 Japan tours.
no Korean concerts.
its kinda crazy not even one of the smaller 3-5k venues was tried.

They did some kcon and things like AAA in sea ect.

Idk abt success/popularity/reception, I only go by engagement in my small closed loop-i had thought early on tat they were doing well. I dint think of them after Queendom 2.

Seems to me they has bad timing to debut ard time of IVE, LSFM n Newjeans in 2021/2023- n smh the izone/produce mark didn’t give them even IOI lvl branding/reception; id guess the rigging earlier affected kep1er.

Too bad, I liked the little I paid attention on Queendom 2. Mnet failed, n then debuting ELZUP(or whatever their grp name is) even before kep1er finished their run-shows no faith in them on net's thinking.

They coulda had/tried S.E.A. markets in 2022/2023 but maybe the company just had no confidence in kep1er breaking the earlier achievement lvl. Is girls planet s2 in the works?

Queendom 2 was a horrible idea.

The insane fighting with in the fandom. Pretty much killed them in Korea.

Its ironic that groups with documented manipulition have a better public perception in Korea than the gp999 girls.

in fact given just how succesful pd 101 japan was produce will be back in Korea. less baggage than gp 999.

Yeah Kep1er had a lot of hype going into Queendom 2 but as soon as they were announced everyone said it was a bad idea and then it became very apparent Kep1er was totally out of their depth competing against the other groups and artists since they just failed to really make an impact. It was the definition of too much too soon since coming off having freshly debuted they weren't ready to go up against groups like Viviz, WJSN and Loona who all had something to prove at Queendom.

They were clearly not ready for prime time. Part of that was the make up of the group 1 lead vocal 7 dancers one of whom could rap but is pretty much the cutest member. They do have girls who can sing they just needed more time to gel and be versatile.
But to your point WJSN has 3 solid, real main vocals.
Loona also solid. Viviz all 3 groups who have been thru the fire and survived.
even brave girls and Hyolyn suffered.

Alot of fans complain that they did not do more girl crushy stuff , but fail to remember Yujin specifically did not want do do gc any more she felt tht was why she had no joy in CLC.
So they ended up with a dance heavy group that the company wanted to be more fun than crush.

Queendom crushed Korean buzz and int fans typically hate fun/upbeat cute. they want dark and broody.

See how much hate any red concept gets.
Heck even now fans are freeking out that the 10th aniv song will be a summer red song.

No comment on girl crush stuff, a lot of what's released nowadays is boring and doesn't sound good 🧍‍♀ we need more diversity, especially within the top groups, and if only fans would be more open to groups changing sound/style

yep red velvet. its just an example. Your right though even in RV's fandom the refusal to accept non bad boy or psycho is strong.

This is the point i sigh over when talking about artist integrity ect. even if the music is technically creative and challenging . Kpop groups are in the POP music business ie it needs to be popular. So either figure it out , start a trend , or follow the trend.
