I remember doing it, luckily mine never got read in front of the class but it did happen with others

I had a friend in elementary school and we had this plastic ball and we would crumple notes in it and then roll it across the floor to one another. I remember it being so much fun, we never got caught either 8-)

Not passing notes, but I remember I had a watch and my friend didn't so in our math class in the 7th grade, she kept asking me how much time was left in the class and I would tell her, and then I got in trouble with the teacher who was upset at me for telling her how much time was left, and being rude. My friend felt bad after that lol. Afterwards, I started typing the minutes left into my calculator and then showing her.

I would actually talk and whisper, not pass notes

Me and my bestie would always write on the table instead of talking to each other. Once a teacher busted us and was like "Why do you write on the table? Tell her out loud" lol.

In my early school years, I remember doing that a few times as a link to the destination.
Meaning someone passed the note to me, and I passed it to the receiving student since they sat near me.

So, you and me were almost the same. Blindly obliging even though we could have easily refused. Although, I wasn't forced, I now wonder why I did that.
