except you're fucked if there's suddenly clouds in your way

that's why the assisted bit lol

save on diesel when there's sun but keep on trucking when its night time I guess. tbh I thought most ships would have some sort of solar APU (auxiliary power unit) by now. like a small set that can feed some water jets or stabilizers or smth.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auriga_Leader (0.05% propulsion is solar, 1% of electricals is solar, built in 2008, projected to save 13 tons of fuel per year and prevent 40 tons of CO2 per year. )
and many more... Most have been retrofits but I think its not too popular among heavy ships because solar panels are relatively weak and batteries are still very heavy.

please keep in mind that this is the humble research of a high schooler and there's million more factors i didn't take in count while doing this project but tbh even if i included all the factors of transport & electricity cost for making physical albums, ppl can stream anywhere anytime for a very small amount of money sooo lots of streaming

I would have thought it was physicals because of the shipping and also the non-ship albums that are purchased to go straight to the dump.

I don't stream anyway and I only buy the physicals for one of my groups lol.

but if you think about it, most normal people buy only one copies of one album while they stream everyday
