Kpop nerd yes but a nerd for like something else. I get called a nerd a lot for bad reasons so I wanted to make sure I didn't appear that way on here.

All nerd means is that you're knowledgeable so it cannot be a problem by itself and as for being annoying from what I've noticed you seem like you're trying to be positive but tend to worry about things which I'd just suggest relaxing and just be yourself then I think you'll be fine and be able to make friends.

no, not at all! Being a nerd just means you're knowledgeable about a certain topic, like I'm a math, art, and K-pop nerd bc I'm knowledgeable about that stuff. Same thing with my tech-savvy dad, he's a "computer nerd".

Honestly it’s very different acting like a nerd online and irl if that’s where people are telling you this

if someone thinks you’re nerdy here bc of some thread you make or wtv they can just ignore it, it’s that simple.

if someone is not interested in something and has verbally expressed that to you but you keep on going out of your way to tell them more about that topic and stuff they don’t care about and boring them, yeah you’re annoying THEM

it depends on the situation you’re called this and the other person, people feeling a certain way about you online can’t rlly be equated

like for example let’s say you hate math. Person A knows you hate math. You’ve told them. But every day they keep telling you new math facts and tricks even though you’ve said you aren’t interested, and say so. Yeah it’s prob annoying…
