I do. Even some of my favorite group had members added to the group even if they aren't the best singer or dancer. Some people are even added just for the visual factor and might not be the most talented, but it doesn't mean they can't improve over time

I dont think visual factor makes a member a filler member. Per say by that definition wonyoung would be a filler member, while the whole group's popularity and tbh existence revolves around her.
But i do believe in filler members, those who dont rly add anything and arent rly popular either.

I disagree visual members are filler but then again one might disagree as to what filler actually means

there are many talents other than just singing and dancing and rapping

it could be stage presence, MCing, variety skills, stan attractor, visual, acting, modelling etc etc

and remember idols aren't just singers they do all of the above as well

I think some members are picked especially in sm, for synergy and vocal harmony.

Its not that they are not great in their own way, but lets say Yeri someone who many give that tag too. RV didn't need another main vocal or dancer but what she brings makes Red Velvet better.
