A group literally calling themselves Illuminati likely doesn't exist but one that does pretty much the same thing as them is probably a given. I was banned from a certain kpop 'community' yet I'm able to control the entire narrative there with a small keyboard black ops team working under the shadows. Imagine how much others with billions and trillions of dollars can control.
