In general, like in school, work, and life, do you ever feel awkward or uncomfortable asking for help when it’s needed?

Yeah, sometimes. When i have to ask total strangers but i take deep breaths and go for it cause i won't be able to do anything if i don't muster up the courage

that's kind of like me but most of the time, I never get the courage so I'm never able to ask.

i hate asking for help cause i wanna show i can do things on my own
i have to learn to do things on my own
mainly at school
and i dont feel weird as much as i feel trapped and it doesnt help when i tear myself apart

i tend to play out a full conversation before deciding if I sound weird asking for whatever I need help with.

When I was younger, yes, definitely. I wanted to be the "go-to" guy that everybody else depended on. When I got older, I realized that is not a sustainable level to stay at, so I learned to ask for help. I still don't ask for help as much as I should, but baby steps, right?
