I know some women who prefer to have male friends as they are not into gossiping and all that feminine stuff. I also know men who don´t like the angry and competitive nature of alpha males and prefer to have female friends.

(Now, those are obvious stereotypes, so I apologize if it might stir something up. There is nothing wrong with being a gentle man and there is nothing wrong with tomboys either! So, please, don´t take this question too close to heart and don´t project into it something there is not. )

I´m curious because boys have never wanted to play with me even when I was a child and I was that kind of "I´ll play with dolls and I´ll play with cars" kind of girl. But apparently I never managed to be girly enough and I wasn´t exactly a tomboy.

Guys FTW... Serious though, the way I am, tends to offend some women. Plus, I tend to be vulgar and uncouth in everyday speech. So generally either men or abrasive women. A perfect example is this girl I was sort of friends with. This guy [I went to class with] was passing by and I mentioned that he was a 6 [in terms of attractiveness] and she got very offended that I did that.

When I was younger I was always friends with more guys than girls and now I don’t have any irl friends so basing it off my online friends now it would be girls. I wouldn’t say I get along with one more than the other, it just depends on what that person is like.
