Or do you give them traditional animal names?

I always give my pets realistic human names, but I'm the only one in my family who does that. My mom and I have been fighting for like three years over whether one of our rabbits is named Apple or Steven

Nah, I'd rather give them something more unique I guess. For example, my cat is named Dash and we call him that because he used to come to our house long enough eat and then dash out the door

And its keep flooding the floor **5 fishes being circus through aquarium

And most guppy had same colors

Also we have seperate cells for each fighting fishes and angel fishes

Mine are typical Russian pet names I think but don't quote me on that

my dog´s name is Timmy which I had thought to be a reasonably good name for a dog until my mom´s friend´s daughter named her son Timmy....... that made things awkward

I don't have pets; but I prefer human names rather than those "animal" ones.

BTW, my brother named his dog "Koji".

Nope I only name them from what they appear
or it depends on what I feel like is right for me and for them
I have a bird that I only call blue bird because of its blue fur it has on its back and stomach

no, but i think that's really cute too lol

im really bad at coming up with names (and sticking with them). my cat doesnt have a """real""" name, i just call her kitty and our first bunny, my mom always referred to him as дог (dog, which means heart in my native language and not dog as in puppy lmao). somehow it warped into dodo so we ended up calling him that. our second bunny doesnt have a name yet, my mom calls him mickey as in mickey mouse sometimes but rarely, i just call him dodo too out of habit

I only use human names if they also make good animal names - if I end up renaming them, that is. lol Like, I won't name a pet Robert or Mary, but I would use Max or Bella, since they're also established pet names. In general, though, I usually just use the names they came with.
