Do you like watching gameplays? (1 Viewer)

I don't know why but I enjoy watching them a lot. Even if it's a game that I've never played or heard of. Sometimes I used them for noise to have in the background.

My nephew likes to do the same thing, but we always hear comments on how it's "stupid" or "weird" to watch someone else play a game, but I honestly don't see what's wrong with it and they can kiss my ass either way


Anyway, do you enjoy watching them?

I used to be obsessed with watching gameplays of Final Fantasy games on YouTube, when I was 15.
I had not played any of those games, but I would be watching them and follow the story line and stuff.

and well... I used to watch my brother playing video games, when I was a child, so that wasn't that much of a foreign concept to me.

I have also watched some other gameplay videos before, like To The Moon.

Whoever said it's weird/stupid obviously have no clue that Video Games/Gameplay is one of the most popular genres on YouTube with Billions of views each month.

I discovered a popular Twitch streamer in 2017, I think, and have enjoyed his hilarious shenanigans and still watch the streams to this day.
He usually plays fighting games, but dabbles in others, too.

no, i personally get bored watching someone play a game. i only do it if there is a quest in game that i have problems with so i have to see how others did it.

I loved watching hitman and anything Mario gameplay.
Very few horror ones too like alien isolation and outlast.

If I have the money for the game or already have it then yes.. but I don't want to torture myself when I might like the game, but would have to wait months to buy it. Although, I did watch countless Skyrim gameplays to see players freakout when they seen the frostbite spider in Bleak Falls Barrow.

I watched them all the time as a kid, especially if I didn't have the game.

We had games but I never wanted to play one until Sims -- I still had a great time watching other people play.
