Not really, but when the hospital or doctor calls they usually use a private number, but they tell you before hand to expect.

In the UK all mobile numbers start 07 (or +44) and most legit companies will have 0800 numbers. For places like the doctors or hospital they'll have the local dialling code for my city. You learn to weed out the spam ones after a while.

How about this? Do you leave your phone on mute when someone calls you? Yeah that's my answer to this question, I don't even know if they're calling me or not, I don't want to deal with unknown numbers. Unless it's my family I'll un-mute my phone.
