Almost always after, but iv tried putting milk b4 when testing whether there was enuf milk in my fridge to fill a whole bowl of cereal so tat it wouldnt be short of milk n too much dry cereal in my bowl when i was running out of milk.

after... but I claim no righteousness for doing this... I mean.. I didn't know until very late that the serving size for cereal was only 3/4 to 1 1/2 cups...
