Do you prefer games that you play by yourself or with others? (1 Viewer)

For video games specifically I really prefer to play by myself so I can completely focus and if it’s something that has a storyline I really like to experience it alone. Obviously with other games like Mario Kart and such I prefer to play with others.

It’s a bit of both for me - the last game I got really into was Elden Ring in which I played offline so I could fully immerse myself. Now I’m getting excited for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet which me and my work colleagues will run a league for and have regular meet-ups and challenges. I might play it online in PvP too (I did that for Sword/Shield).

It is indeed. It’s the new mainline release for the series and it’s coming out in 10 days time.
It’s bringing better graphics, a full open world, 3 overarching storylines and errr, a sandwich making mini-game, so it should be awesome!

Both, I love playing games with friends it creates really good memories with them especially since I record everything, I always save the best moments! Single player games are great when I need to be alone or do my own thing.

If playing together with others irl, you have to plan, coordinate, etc.

If you're playing a match online, I can't exactly pause it and have to finish a whole match before doing something else

basically I suck at time management and planning so alone is best

but I like playing with others, it's fun!
I'm very competitive but I also suck at video games tbh and most of the time I'm not in the zone, but when I focus I'm decent
