I feel like younger generations don’t really care too much for the news, so I’m asking you all this question:

Do you read the news? Do you keep up with it? How many times do you go through some news site or video or anything? What’s your source of news?

For me personally, I try to read news daily. I think it’s really important to keep up with what’s happening around us. Personally, I mainly use NPR and research anything that I’m interested about from various sources.

Yeah I have the BBC app so I can stay up to date with what's happening to the world. Sometimes though, it's good to take a break from the news. The world is an absolute shit hole. People are constantly dropping dead. Species are going extinct, daily. Sigh.

I read/watch the news everyday.

I have 4 news apps on my phone: ABC, BBC, NPR, and Associated Press.
I had the Washington Post but my school cut their deal with them so I don't get it free anymore. I also had Reuters at one point but I could never get the app to work well.

I also watch Philip Defranco and will watch the evening or morning news when I can. Also, get quick stuff or article suggestions from twitter

From times to times If there is a bigger criminal case for example I might follow it, but other than that it depends

Most of the times I cannot find the usefulness of them; and they are plagued with negativity. I most of the times never listen to them.

I used to keep up with the news daily. But for the last year and a half I haven't really kept up with it, I just get so stressed out about the horrible things in our world and while I would like to stay up to date with the important stuff going on around me I've just gotten to where I'll just wait until my mom tells me stuff about the news to keep me updated. So.. my news source is from my mom lol

Yeah I do. Even if I might not be interested, if it's a big enough story, it's always good to be informed. Being uninformed and without an opinion is dangerous.

I do, as I have to for speech and debate. I mainly only read the political news though. It's interesting to me.

I don't seek out the news nowadays, unless it shows up on Twitter or the front page of Google mobile. The source I usually use is HuffPost.

I read online news only when i rmbr to chk, sometimes daily for awhile; sometime long breaks b4 i chk. I did buy the localnewspaper everyday last yr when i dint hv a working phone for a mth or longer. Read a lot of news then, bit indont miss doing tat rn or since.
