I like taking my time finishing a book, plus it is hard to find time to finish a book that fast.

For physical books, I normally aim to take a week, which is typically about 50 pages a day. Every once in a while (like last night, lol), I'll read a book all in one sitting, but it's hard to do that regularly, given the length of the books I read and the other demands on my time.

Last times I rmbr reading a book straight thru(break for meals n such-toilet break i think-more than 10 yrs ago) - were the hardcover of last Harry Potter n yrs later-A Dance of Dragons(A Song of Ice and Fire <book 5 of 7> alas, which were adapted into Game of Thrones-which released 2 mths apart; tv series in april 2011 & ADoD in july. Still no sign of Winds of Winter <bk 6> or Dream of Spring <bk 7> but im one of the few waiting patiently, for 13 yrs now n counting. If its not completed i think ill not be complaining, i can hardly rmbr wat was in bk 1-5 tat wasnt in the tv series. I read bk 1 in 1996/1997! N devoured each subsequent bk.)

many of my boks are 1000 pages or so... so no.

but i have read many many books straight thru.

I have been known to take a day off of work to read a book on release day...

find me a few restaurant's and eat and read .. chill go some where else eat and read . have ing ppl bring me food while i read is a guilty pleasure :)
