This is bc I saw a Youtube video with that title, I didn't watch it but I must admit I was a bit disappointed that she didn't win album of the year, I became a fan after thank u, next album dropped, every song is a bop and also just so so special, it's like Ari learned some life lessons and decided to share them with us through music, as well as also telling us what not to do (I don't think anyone can say that she was trying to promote the message of break up with ur girlfriend i'm bored, I think it's pretty obvious how ridiculous she made it sound in the song lol)

I can't exactly say she got snubbed, since I haven't listened to Billie Eilish's album so I can't say which one deserved it more. I think there were so many great songs and albums released this year that I think no matter who the winners were, someone's gonna be disappointed.

I can see why Bad Guy won song even tho it wasn't my cup of tea, but idk why thank u next album didn't win

Billies Album is pretty well thought out. Bad Guy is cool as a start but the album is deeper than that song. the whole album actually deals more or less with concepts like death.



I do think tho that Ari and her album could have easily been the winner too. It seems rather like a close call here

I wasn't too impressed with the album "Thank U, Next" though I loved its lead single. I thought Sweetener (a 2018 release) was better. That album won two Grammys.

I didn't like thank u, next. I think it was because of the "heE"s at the end. But she had a great album. I don't personally like Billie Eilish's music, nor am I too into Ariana Grande, but I think either artist deserved the award.

Yeah, she definitely got snubbed, thank u next was a great album and was a groundbreaking moment when it released in late 2018. she should have won, best pop vocal and album of the year. I like Billie and I think that her album was good but, thank u next like I said was a big moment in 2019 and had hit after hit playing on the radio with great reviews from critics. to not only invite her but also have her perform and then snub her out of her well deserved grammies was disrespectful as hell.

At first when I was getting into Ari I prefered thank u next a LOT more but now the gap closed, I still prefer thank u next but sweetener isn't too far off. The thing with sweetener is that I didn't like songs like successful, the light is coming, or sweetener at all but they've grown on me after a while just because they're a bit different, still don't really like blazed tho >.>

R.E.M's my favorite, but I prefer this version over the versions in the sweetener and live albums (though the one on sweetener is very good):




It's fully live, with a mini orchestra and many (maybe 8 or 9?) of backup singers. A video of the performance exists (saw it on a plane) but I haven't been able to find the DVD.

Next in my list of favorites are better off, get well soon and goodnight n go.

I don't care much for the light is coming.

Is she really that good?

Sweetener was a great album. I felt so much connection to Ariana on that record, compared to the one before that.
