Double texting is essentially when you send texts hours apart after whoever you're talking to hasn't responded.
A lot of people don't like to do it because they believe it makes them look clingy or needy.
Personally, I don't really care about double texting, although it never feels good to see that whoever I'm talking to waits forever to respond.​

It depends who I'm talking to... for people I consider friends/family, of course I will double text. When it comes to someone I am romantically interested in, I don't double text... Lol. if they don't respond to the first message, oh well. I'm not going to chase them.

I have plenty of people who don't seem to know how texting works, because I tell them simple things that require a response like... "What time are you coming..." or "What did you think of xyz..." and they don't reply. Its annoying, but I've found that certain people will only text you back if they get the text while they are awake. Or the type of people/person who has their tv on 100 volume so they can't even hear when calls/texts come through.

honestly no but then again, i don't think i should be the one talking here because i'm usually the one thats receiving double texts LMAO i can't help it though, it's not like i'm ignoring them on purpose or anything i'm just busy most of the time

I used to be scared to do it but I genuinely know my friends have the attention span of a squirrel running around in traffic. I enjoy when it’s done to me because it shows the person still had more to say. It’s not always welcome but that’s when I say it’s because something else is going on with me that day. Otherwise I’m all for double texts. I reply as quick as I have the time

I double text with family and friends if I'm having a conversation with them and it suddenly takes a long pause in the middle of it, but otherwise no.
