Do you think it's hard to be a kpop stan? (1 Viewer)

I feel like music and accessibility-wise, it's easier to access than a lot of western music is for me? I guess that might be a weird thing to say, but kpop just feels a lot better organized and easier to find.
However, socially, I feel like it might be hard sometimes. Kpop is really similar to anime in the sense that there's still a social stigma around it so sometimes I'm afraid to talk about my interest in kpop around people I'm not familiar with.
Do you think similarly?​

there is a social stigma around being a kpop fan but i think it's not enough for me to feel like i actively have to hide it all the time. it was a lot weirder like 7 years ago when I was a fan since kpop was still only known for like Psy and Gangnam Style.

i don't think it is hard really, but then again i have always tried to be open about liking kpop because i don't like to hide a big part of what interests and makes me happy

I think it can be hard to dedicate yourself to being a kpop stan if you're busy because the industry is so fast-paced.

I feel like western artists have such a slow career and are always on a break, even after releasing a song. But with kpop, it feels like your faves are releasing content 24/7.
