Do you think it's worth stanning a temporary group? (1 Viewer)

I don't think there is anything wrong with stanning a temporary group, but I don't think I can get myself to stan one. The reason being is because I know that they're just gonna disband at some point. And obviously when they disband you get kind of sad about it and you're gonna miss them being together like crazy.

For me I don't know want to say it's not worth it, but if a group isn't going to be together for a long time then I don't really see the point? I'd rather not grow attached to the group and then be sad about a disbandment later on. Just my thought though

I think if you like them, then why not enjoy them while they're around. Sure they may disband faster than most groups, but I don't think that should stop anyone from enjoying a group.

Well all groups disband eventually, but it's true temporary groups disband faster than others. If you want to deal with the inevitable heartbreak go for it, though i personally dont know if I'd stan one.

I stanned IZ*ONE a couple months before disbandment and X1 after disbandment so I think it is worth it. I went into it expecting to be sad and with IZ*ONE without the thought of them possibly staying together. So as long as you know what you're getting yourself into it, I am happy to support them

Depends if you can look past the impending date and enjoy the group as you would a group with a longer lifespan and for me I think the date prevents me from getting as invested as I would normally

I can like the group but I don't think I'd ever stan unless there were people in the group that I already know of, otherwise no

I love IZ*ONE to death and while this year promises to continue to be very painful.
The amount of joy and happiness i received will totally cancel it out.

for example the Eyes on me trip is one of the best vacations/memories of my life.

Ironically what it may stop me from doing is staning the companies splinter groups.

every group disbands one day so in the end everything is temporary really. even after the disbandment the music they made is still here so i would say that it is definitely worth it.

I stanned JBJ and never regretted it, I definitely got attached but I loved cheering them on when they were together. I also loved X1 and probably would have stanned eventually. I think it’s worth it.

It depends for me. I know it will be sad when they disband but it wont ruin my life or anything. I was holding back on stanning izone due to them being a temporary group. I always kept an eye out for them and listened to their songs when they came out. I found myself wanting to get the know the members more so i finally gave in during Fiesta era. Same thing probably would have happened with X1 but they disbanded really quickly. I also stanned i.o.i but i never got the chance to stan wanna one before they disbanded. As long as you can handle when they disband, yes.

No for me(at least so far), for the reasons stated in the OP, mostly. I dont even stan any rookie ggs except aespa(mostly cos Winter kept popping up in my twt tl, n kept stan-attracting me with her puppy-cute expressions/i kept seeing tat same/similar expression in a pfp/sig here everytime a user who had it as pfp/sig posted in this forum n i read a thread/post here by them).

Tldr: no (or not yet so far).

yeah, I’m a career fan through and through and a lot of these temporary groups can help build a secure fanbase so I def support and stan them
