Do you think that they will do it?
I think they can but the main problem that if yg will even allow them to do that by giving them more content which I don't think he will since he concentrate on his boy groups,do survival shows for bgs or debut bgs all the time
Bgs are a priority for him which is also making me worried about BP future if his new bgs will hit big

Honestly, it depends on so many things I just don't think it's possible to even guess. Like, will they have more than 30 songs throughout their whole career (if I remember correctly that's pretty much the amount of songs 2NE1 had). Will they go through long hiatuses like 2NE1 did? Will YG actually man up and give them the promotions they should be having? Too many variables to even guess imo

Most likely, yes. Although they have to prove longevity the way 2NE1 did. Also, it's a completely different surroundings now and in 2010.

they've already outsold them in terms of physicals, square up is the best selling female album in yg and its 2nd to one of big bangs albums. the rest, yeah they could, it all depends on whether or not they release more music. tbh the thing that I think blackpink has an advantage on is that theyre signed to interscope records. interscopes ceo is invested in blackpink, and hes one of the best ceos for female artists. so I dont think hes going to just sit around and let yg mistreat them.
