Well, the book is nearly 200 years old and the movie is nearly 30 years old, so it probably has some problematic elements (I've not seen it recently enough), but it's not the first old Disney film I would think of that is wildly problematic.

i'm fr, it was in the past and most people haven't watched it in years, found it boring (aka didn't care to pay attention or remember it), forgotten about it, or it's their favorite movie.

I honestly don't know. I've only seen the movie once, but from what I remember, he's shunned for how he looks but does find true love at the end.

Does this person condone those movies? If no, then it’s not hypocritical for them to say they think the Hunchback of Notre Dame is problematic. Which also means that how problematic other movies are or aren’t isn’t relevant, because whether it’s problematic is based on its content, not content of other movies.

As for whether it is actually problematic idk, I haven’t seen it. Could be horribly problematic for all I know, or could be not problematic in the slightest. But in most cases, I feel like the argument of there’s worse out there isn’t a good argument, because there’ll always be worse. And it seems to be an argument lots of people like to use.

Based on todays standards it is as I mean the main antagonist hates a specific group of people but I don't think we should shy away from stories like that as long as that character gets their comeuppance.

People should be able to write about their own experiences with situations like that since even if it's uncomfortable to hear people have had negative experiences like that however it is important when so many still live that kind of experience just for existing.

To me it sounded like you were saying that even if it did have problematic elements, that there are a lot of more problematic movies out there in the world. But other movies are irrelevant here because if its problematic, its problematic, regardless of if other movies are also problematic.
