During the heyday of online forums in the 00s(Yeah I'm old u Young whippersnappers @RandAlThor back me up if I'm right), posters could accumulate credit to buy items for their profile page/posts-kinda like badges. I wasn't very active from 2004/5~2010s so I nvr accumulated many posts to buy items, I learned after returning to online forums(which I joined in 2000s n was still running but less active than before) about items cause they were discussed in threads n showed in profile pages/same as badges shown in threads.

It shd be fun to see wat inventory items are available in a kpop forum.(the oldest kpop forums I can think of are soompi/onehallyu n I nvr noticed if they had inventory items available to acquire, as opposed to special time limited gestures at u-know-where.
