I live in a part of the US where two languages are common, and it is common for some to pronounce my first name the way you would in the non-english form of the name. At this point I don't really correct anyone when they mispronounce my first name since it has happened a lot. But @Reverie you might appreciate this, some people do have issues pronouncing my middle name as well: Éamon
