I need time to process this. Ever since I watched it; I've been having a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach.

changing their main sound was a dreaded thing. I remember the first comeback I experienced and how anxious that made me. I only rested in peace when I watched their dance teaser and it showed their signature rock sound. I had grown too confident that they'd not change the rock sound. They did. Now, I might outgrow the feelings of disappointment; but I can be almost sure that my feelings for Dreamcatcher will water down.

I hate to break it to you but I honestly think their heavy rock sound is finished.
I think they want to cater more to the GP to get more popular which I am not really a fan off, but they are a kpop group after all and although they have still kept their rock sound and uniqueness, their heavy rock sound is no more.
I love this song though, so I don't mind it too much this time.

I have guessed as much. I don't think that for me stanning a group is something I can just decide. Believe it or not, I didn't want to stan groups in the beginning; but I found Dreamcatcher very hard to resist. Now I feel on my way out of stanning; yet it's still too soon to see if that's what will happen. I'll see it in the next few days. If I do drop out of stanning DC; it's likely I'll still casually follow them though.

I don't think they are done with heavy-rock. Their entire style definitely is still rock, and there are anime worthy tracks on the album (Tension, Sahara, Daybreak). Pretty sure this EDM jumpout is a one-time thing.

I hope you're right. Don't make me wrong; the song is good, I daresay great. It's disappointing that they went for another genre however. I see the many places were they could have inserted heavy guitars in this song and they didn't.

@PinkPrincess , the album has great heavier songs too!

And I know you like Japanese content PinkPrincess, so look forward to DC's original Japanese release 'Endless Night' next month, along with original MV. I'm expecting something heavier, due to it being a Japanese release.
