IDK who's gonna read through all of this since it's a pretty big thread but here goes nothing


I don't even know where to start besides saying iMe Korea is a huge mess of a company to be in.

DreamNote was the first GG I got really interested in and that was purely because of how crazy good their pre-debut performances were, surely they were not perfect,
but even I could tell that they had huge potential.

It pretty much started with this busking performance.



Followed by their pre-debut showcase concert performances like these







The trouble already started shortly before their debut,
one girls left due to mental trauma the company put her through,
on top of that they sued her for leaving before debut because the contract stated they would even do so in case that happened.

Debut comes and they debut with a really REALLY cutesy concept



This usually isn't my type of music AT ALL but something just really clicked and I really enjoyed it despite hoping they'd do something else than cutesy.
They went a bit viral for their debut stage which had surprisingly good live vocals "for a nugu group".



A few months go by, new year and they release their first comeback



Following the cutesy style of "DREAMNOTE", again usually not really what I listen to but I enjoyed this as well, still hoping they would do more than just cutesy for their whole career.
And here the downfall pretty much begins.


After a few promotions, the 2 maknaes, both main dancers at that announced they would leave the group.

Which was obviously very hard for Pages, and myself, since Hanbyeol was one of my biases in this group, but her decision obviously respectable.


Then almost a whole year after Hakuna Matata they came back in January of this year.



They had a few promotions but there has been practically nothing else this year besides WISH.
And I really don't want DreamNote to become a group that only comes back once a year.

Anyways
DreamNote deserves better and you all should stan them

I wish there was some kind of safety for idols to safe them from bad treatment but its like as soon as they sign their contract they are the entertainments property

fr tho i feel so bad for idols who get mistreated by their crappy arse company.

i can't tell you how badly it hurt when habin and hanbyeol left the group. they were my biases i'm glad they're away from such a terrible company though. i'm really scared for the group. they have such promise and they just released some of their best music, but now they're nowhere to be found.

they update their socials daily so they are still active but there's nothing even to say if they are preparing for a cb or not, even when they had different hair colors, which is sometimes a clue for a new cb there was still nothing

i'm still gonna hope for a comeback, even if it doesn't look good. "bittersweet" is one of my favorite songs of all time. they consistently serve quality bops

I doubt there will be one for the rest of the year but hopefully in the 1st quarter of next year

I have the albums but it gets really hard when new groups start bleeding members.
I found em because it was about the time of PAB promotions.
Really like the skill and the amount of bounce in the lives.

This year is super brutal for the small agencies most of the money making opportunities are gone.

yeah honestly, with how many smaller groups disbanded this year we can be lucky they are still together, since Covid took a serious toll in disbandment too, just hope the girls are doing alright

Their needs to be some kind of idol union where it's someone's job to look out for their well being and hold companies accountable for this kind of thing.

Some companies treat idols so bad and unfairly.
