thats utterly crazy but makes total sense. i cant help but remember the one time in middle school when my friend was sleeping over, and she was like "what was wrong with you last night?" and i was like HUH
apparently she had gone up to go to the bathroom and i sat straight up, looked her dead in the eyes and said "where are you going" very monotone like two or three times. i obviously have no recollection of that but just the thought makes me laugh so hard. so it was all for survival huh...

I haven't tried it yet, but apparently one should treat sleep-walk/talk-ers as if they are awake, but assume they'll remember none of it. Because they'll be functioning and act accordingly
