Heyyy, drop your experiences with Kpop concerts you've attended!
I've attended KBS Music Bank in Berlin back in like... 2018? I mainly went to see EXO and Taemin and they absolutely served tbh but also Stray Kids and (G)I-DLE were already great performers when they were just Rookies!
I am going to see Blackpink on Monday and idk how to feel about it. The tickets were quite expensive so I hope they will serve some good performances but lately they've been facing a lot of criticism again :/

Honestly Kpop concerts take up so much money...so it's good to always treasure any experience you can get haha :)

I went to an NCT 127 concert and Itzy concert. Both were great, but I was late to the NCT one because the lines were so long. I also had a much better view for the Itzy one. But both killed it when it came to performances.

It was a trek but I’m glad I made it, I was considering waiting to see if they’d have a second round of concerts in the US, which they will, but none in the second round are going to be as close to me as Newark was. It was my first concert ever and I enjoyed it a lot

Oh, yes- NCT are great performers so I can definitely tell that it must have been special! EXO & Taemin also mean a lot to me I am still manifesting that SM Entertainment will stop ignoring Europe when it comes to tours... but oh well

Understandable, Exo and Taemin are great performers too. Hopefully you’ll be able to go to SM concerts at some point

Lets see i saw
Red velvet in Seoul for all 3 red room shows, and both Red Mare.
In Dallas and Miami for red mare and Chicago for the fan meet / concert.
IZ*ONE in Seoul for Eyes on me all 3 shows

Mcountdown for a raft of groups including Wjsn, We ME, Banvdit, cherry bullet, lovelyz

I far far far far prefer shows in Korea than shows in America. The fans are nicer and more engaged.

It was more of a fanmeet than an actual concert. I went to KARD’s 2nd fanmeet in the USA in NYC shortly after they officially debuted. It was a great experience and it was my first ever K-Pop event I went to.

Plus BM picked my question during the Q&A session and all the KARD members answered (it was the first question for the Q&A session)

I saw Monsta X back in May in Detroit, so that was fun! I don't think I'll go to another, though, at least not without earplugs. lol

My first concert was Wanna One and it's still a very memorable experience for me, the music and the members were so beautiful, and I bought their lightstick there. Parking cost me $40 which was absolutely bonkers, they really robbed me blind.

My second was Monsta X, they had no merch by the time I got into the venue, so that was really sad. Overall I fell in love with their entire setlist for that concert and I still listen to many of those songs.

My third was AB6IX fanmeeting, they did not supply enough merch for us but it was such an amazing experience and I got to high-five the members. I was a bit disappointed at the end of it because I did not hold enough eye contact w/ the members to satisfy myself, but Daehwi and Donghyun smiled so brightly when we high-fived, that was amazing.

My fourth was SEVENTEEN, this has to be my favorite. The music, the members, it was so good. I sang along to Darling and had the time of my life, it definitely helped that the lightsticks synced at the venue so the lightsticks were constantly changing colors. My biggest complaint is how expensive the merch was for being such poor quality. The hoodie was $90, the fit was very small/tight, and the t-shirts are also incredibly thin and cheap feeling. I also threw it in the wash and forgot to tie the strings so I had to fish that out which was a 0/10 experience.

My fifth was BLACKPINK, I was very very lonely at this one as it was the first I went to by myself. I was also exhausted by the time the concert started, ended, and then I had to drive myself home and I ended up crying on the way home. The girls were perfect, it was nothing against them, the day was just bad for me. I recommend buying the oversized crewneck because that has become one of my absolute favorite articles of clothing in such a short time period. The merch quality vs. pricing is much much better here than the SVT concert, you are buying quality with this good. I was bummed that the lightsticks in the venue did not sync like with Seventeen but BLACKPINK made up for it. They put all their energy into their performances and nothing compares to the hype in the venue than when Lisa performed MONEY. It was SO good.
