As @winterstory knows the most about me and has requested [given she's the winner] that I review E'Last debut and comebacks.. here we go.
Swear
Song: 4/5
Concept: 5/5
Overall: Nice imagery. Nice outfits. Different from many mainstream groups.
Tears of Chaos
Song: 3/5
Concept: 5/5
Overall: This song is good. Not my favorite. The video incorperates many of the same concepts of 'Swear'. Clothes and color appears to be similar.
Dangerous
Song: 4/5
Concept: 3/5
Overall: Song was better than the video, in my opinion. It felt a big monochromatic. Felt more of the same-ish.
Dark Dream
Song: 5/5
Concept: 5/5
Overall: This was very very good. Breaking up the red and white color with red was good. The mix of red and white dancing. The dancing with yarn knots. I really liked this concept.
To Lie
Song: 6/5
Concept: 6/5
Overall: A huge difference from the other videos. This one feels more light, less dark and not just in color but in tone. It goes for a cute effect which works. Out of the six songs this was my favorite and, as I listened to the songs before watch the mvs I was going to cry if they tried to use a dark concept for this song
..
Creature
Song: 4/5
Concept: 4.5/5
Overall: This felt similar to other comebacks, but a lot darker in tone than the previous comebacks, such as the use of blood. This felt extremely atmospheric.
Summary: Colors tend to be similar across videos (red, white and black). Songs are all at least good with none being unlistenable. One thing that I thought as I watched each video was of how much I was reminded of dreamcatcher, which is a good thing. A good group. Perhaps it makes sense for them to stick to white, black, and red as stylistic choices. Breaks up the monotony of many groups doing cute concepts only. However, the fact that To Lie was lighter showed their versitility. A 5 point scale for a group rating would be inappropriate so I'll just say 8.5/10
1= I don't like it
2= It was whatever
3= It was good
4= It was great.
5= It was the best. Going on my playlist.
