Unfortunately Smash Into Pieces lost the Sweden semi-finals.



I didn't listen to all songs (there should be still some surprises when watching the ESC). But my favorite so far is BESA (Albania).

I still havent listened too all song, but from what I have heard this years songs are sooo boring. I`m sad some countries americanized their songs and sing in eng instead of their native language.

Ooohhh yes, I did prefer it in Albanian tho.
I found it more powerful than the English one but could change when I see it live

I get it, I think it's more than ever before since global voting was allowed since last year and countries will try to sway the global voters.
But I think that some countries do better by picking English. Also, English songs do better overall.
For example, I doubt that people would like Bazart or Stan van Samang if Belgium send them even though they're great artists. It wouldn't work.

I think that you can do English songs, but put in some influences (Mustii's song is English but has the characteristic darker/alternative pop influence that Belgium has been known for).

It's a common pop song, not good, not bad.

Ooohhh yes Ryk seemed to be a fave for lots of people who followed the national contest.
I prefer it over Always on The Run too (good song, but like for on the radio-good)
