No, I think you misunderstood what I meant or I didn't make it clear enough in my post. SM said 7 members resigned with them in December 2022, so a lot of people are wondering who the 8th member who didn't sign was (most likely Baek has he was in the military at the time and might not have been able to/allowed to participate in negotiations then, but the truth is none of us know who the 8th member who didn't resign was/is.)
And that's when I made up the silly little story of SM not resigning with Chen, and Xiu and Baek joining him in leaving and that's why the three of them are taking legal action.

CBX taking legal action is true, I wouldn't deny that. Even though SM are throwing mud and doing their best to CTA, CBX are doing what they feel necessary and I support them infinitely in their fight.

It never sat well with me how the contract stuff was always so mysterious in SM (like we never got any news about groups extending their contract or groups just staying in SM despite not having any cbs in years), it was so obvious something very fishy is going on

From teh very first JYJ deal i have had issues.
Its not like entertainment has ever in the history of the planet had a even ok rep for fair contracts.

The thing i still do not get is SM has some of teh most Hyper Wealthy families kids as trainees and in these groups.
Some of these families have Billions in assets they can spring for a great contract lawyer.
Why are not the families lawyers all up in their grill at the start?
Minors can't sign contracts by law in any country i know of.

I dont care if teh kid wants to be a star someone has to be the adult. read teh documents know the law.

Kinda starting to sound like it's more about the money, that the members are suspicious that SM has been doctoring payslips to make it so the members get paid less than they should be. They have seen payslips but they want to see the actual payslips with the actual amounts.

Sounds like SM might have been skimming off the top and the members have finally found a way to say something. Not just for them but for other artists in the company as well. Makes sense why the company will only show the members payslips and not give them an actual copy, because if it goes to a lawyer or financial consultant they would likely be caught out.
