News Extreme Floodings in Germany (1 Viewer)

I'm sure a few of you have seen news of this but for the ones not caught up

This comment sums it up pretty well

"Floods like this are far from common in this area and around it. The rainfall that occured in RLP and NRW this night is absolutely unprecedented and several records for the highest water level have been broken with numbers that are twice(!) as high as the previous record. Edit for clarification: 150l-250l per m² hit the area within two days. Heavy rainfall in previous days made it impossible for the soil to collect even more."







This is most likely the most devastating natural disaster we have had here in Germany, there are over 110 found dead by now and over 1300 people missing.
I know that Belgium and Switzerland are having some problems with heavy rain as well but not to this extent yet.

If the last one collapses, we might have to get evacuated as well depending on how far it's going to flow.​
