What is something someone has said that had you facepalming for your life?

A little while ago I heard someone in the media say something like: "Why do people say the sky is the limit? Why limit ourselves? Why can't we go beyond the sky!"

When I first started collecting cards, I didn't quite understand how trading worked, so I looked for whoever had Vivi's card (bc Vivi was my female ult at the time) and posted a trade with @eclipsoul . Poor girl was so confused, and when I learned how trading ACTUALLY works? Face, meet palm. lol I know she's forgotten by now, but I haven't.

this literally happened 20 minutes ago, i saw my former classmate at a screening of the matrix resurrections in the movie theater (and i knew that she noticed me) so i naturally went to ask her what she thought of it after it ended and she only replied "i couldn't understand what was going on the whole time" with an emphasis on "the whole time" so i asked her if she ever watched the previous three parts and she said that this is the first time she's ever watching a matrix movie and went to see it just because she heard good things about it on a movie related podcast she likes. i understand that the movie itself is very divisive so i wasn't exactly expecting her to love it as much as i did but this is on the same level as starting to watch a multiple season show starting from the last one

that would make for an interesting creative writing challenge; knowing how something starts and ends, and around how long the plot is, write out the entire middle section of a show
