Fire Emblem Engage: male or female MC? (1 Viewer)

I bought this game yesterday, but I haven't started it yet because I can't decide if I play as the male or female avatar. The social bonds are apparently not much of a consideration, so what do you think? I kind of think the female is cuter, but I hate her stupid hair that's so long she should be walking on it.

I usually choose the female character for my first playthrough, then I will do another playthrough as male! In general, I love games that allow me to play as a female character, since I am a woman myself. I think it's cool. I'll end up playing both though!

I don't know exactly why, but I prefer playing female characters in any games.
