For People Who Got into College Programs? (3 Viewers)

I applied to a program in January and the email they sent out
said that you should find out if you got in before March 1st or on March 1st.
It's now March 2nd and I still have no email saying anything about my application.

Nothing about if I got in, if I'm on a waiting list, or if I didn't get in.

I just wanted to know if you applied for something and if the school or program stuck to the deadline
or if you had to wait a bit afterward to find out?

My anxiety is shooting through the roof and I really just want to know so I can move on with my life.​

I'd give you advice but I'm not the best at managing myself in terms of this. My anxiety only really acts up for like 10 mins max at a time so maybe try distracting yourself? Idk srry

Some colleges have pushed their decision release dates from the last week of March to the first week of April.

I'm guessing that most U.S. colleges' going test-optional has opened the floodgates for applications. Schools want that, because it will drive the acceptance rates down and make the schools appear more selective and "prestigious".

My acceptance letters came within the time frame, usually at the start of the frame. But... that was 7 years ago.

I hope it comes quickly, or you get a delay notice or something. I can't imagine waiting like that is fun.

I applied in january, I got admitted but won't get my acceptance letter until April. ( 2 yr college) But seriously don't worry to much and panic over nothing. One of the schools I applied for didn't even send me a confirmation email until literally yesterday and I applied the first week of january. I'm pretty sure stuff might be running slow because of covid. So just relax a little bit. It will be ok
