Saw it had English subtitles. And was like cool. Original Japanese.

You lose everything. All the nuance and inflections and tone and native context.

Everyone sounds like a Sally or George.

I don't know why they sell versions that only have one or the other.... Just sell both together. Let the customer switch.... It should always have the original language in my mind... Always.....

dubs exist for the so-bad-it's-good dubs imo
a good english dub is actually more pointless
because if you want to listen to good voice acting just listen to the actual japanese

Bad dubs actually do seem to have a following. Even on those old kung fu movies from the 70s people go around collecting the dvds that have the original english dub. It's like a part of history actually that they want to preserve.

Sure, there was a Street Fighter Alpha dub in portuguese that was so bad that I was laughing at it with my friends the other day.

There are so much drama involved in dubbing too that it's entertaining.

I really liked the show throughout except the ending which kinda left me unsatisfied

Watched the Japanese. Sometimes there are some decent dubs but I'll always go sub.

Yeah, like voice actors being replaced, others acting like they own the character, voice actors hiring others for a cheap price, all sort of stuff lol

yeah I remember liking it a lot but it’s been over 10 years since I watched lol so I don’t remember much anymore but I remember going through all episodes pretty fast
