The group that got me into kpop so long ago.

I remember the feeling.

Of seeing this strange thing called kpop. Being taken into this whole new world by 9 girls. This world of girl group pop music unlike anything I had ever seen.

To this day.

SNSD is kpop to me.

Particularly their early era from debut through 2011ish.

There was a sound, a look, a feeling, a charm that was so unique. So distinct in its time and place.

You couldn't find it anywhere else.

It was kpop, unadulterated. Distilled in its most pure form.

A magic that has not been approached since.

If I had to sum up my love of kpop into one song, it would be this.

I've never found another.

This is kpop.

Yep i would add Oh! RDR and Hoot especially since i found kpop with RDR.

I slept on this when i first knew abt them in 2009 after their record 9 weeks at No.1. I watched their MV(s?) but lack of info/ignorance then meant i took 9 long yrs b4 i stanned them n rlly got into kpop(i intermittently dipped my toes, especially when Genie, TTS n other stuff caught my attention but basically dint google/learn or find fan-subs/cams n was left behind, worst mistake i made i think/or just dint try to find out more.) Wat a loss of 9 yrs for me.
