The only album I ever liked from them is their most recent "Neverland" but also all of the b-sides, not only the title.
I kind of feel the same way about them as I do with Gfriend. The sort of magical wonderland type of concept that they do just don't resonate with me at all. The members don't really stand out to me as well, normally I always tend to know one or two from any group but even when watching their MVs I don't really get engaged and encouraged to get to know any members at all.

Blackpink

I think the biggest problem I have with them is that they are under YG who hold back their potential a 100%.
I'd say their music is always 50/50 for me.
One batch always sounds like a recycled Teddy song and the other half actually sounds like there was effort put in to make the songs unique.
Weirdly enough I like both of their ballads, Stay and You Never Know, the most and my least liked are probably their most popular songs.
It's kind of a mixed bag with BP, I just can hope that overall Teddy gets his creative blockade out of the way to allow Blackpink to shine the way they should.

I mean technically not, but I'd prefer groups that I know since I won't be listening to their whole discography extra for this lil thread, so for example I couldnt rate anything from Passcode cuz I literaly have no idea about them besides maybe the 3-4 songs you and Yachii showed me

IZ*ONE

I never liked any of the Produce groups including IZ*ONE, while they occasionally have a good title track their b-sides are mostly not anything for me.
The Secret Story Of The Swan was a great title and I think the only one I ever liked from them, their Japanese releases are some of the worst I ever heard.
Besides 2-3 vocals, the group (which I sadly can't name cuz idk their names) overall seems really weak in the vocal department, might just be because of the really light voices most of them have, don't really feel any kind of power behind their words.

ITZY

DALLA DALLA, ICY and WANNABE are amazing.
IDK what happened with Not Shy but it's really not a enjoyable song to me at all.
I also don't like any of their b-sides, it feels like they are still trying to look for what they wannabe (yes, pun intended).
I did like That's a no no and I don't wanna dance but besides those 2 not really any other bsides.
Vocal-wise I really enjoy all of their voices but I think Chaeryeong always ends up being overshadowed by the other 4, which I hope will change with the future.

Red Velvet

I really like their concept and that they can offer so much variety be it on the Red or on the Velvet side.
Overall I do prefer their Velvet side because the Red side can be a huge hit or miss for me.
Vocal line is great however they do get a bit stagnate because the structure always seems to be the same.
I wish Irene and Yeri were able to sing in a lower key because they sound amazing when they sing lower than the forced higher vocals.

Ok besides my bias for the members above I gotta say the rest doesn't stand out to me much. Definitely blaming the line distributions for that cause some of the members really barely get any lines and any screen time which is a shame because I did like some of the other solos from them.
I dislike Hi High and Butterfly alot, they are annoying songs. So What went into the right direction and the album for Why Not?, especially Voice is amazing. I think if they continue in the direction of So What & Why Not? I'll definitely enjoy them much more than I have.

Wonder Girls
I love Why So Lonely, and I remember I checked out the rest of their discography but haven't really liked anything else from them.
Why So Lonely has something magical about it that makes it stand out a lot in their discography to me.
I'm glad most of the members have found a great solo career altho I only really like Sunmi's out of them.

Mamamoo
I love their vocals and what they can do with them.
I do tend to like their titles a lot more than their B-Sides but it's simply because most of the b-sides are slower paced, more mature sounding, that you'd hear live at a restaurant kind of songs which just isn't really anything for me LOL.
Obviously their voices are really distinct and really easy to pick out, tell who sings what etc. and yet they still blend beautifully together.
I like how all of their voices is completely different as well.

Before Glory Days Album I only really liked their title tracks, the b-sides seemed to always be half arsed to me.
That changed with Glory Days and the albums after that.
I was sad to see Jesy leave because all four of them together were extremely talented vocalists and there will definitely be something noticeably missing with Jesy gone.
They are my favorite western GG atm, and I hope they will continue for more than just a year as only 3
